ABOUT THE COURSE

SAP® Project Management – Job Ready Training is ideal for anyone interested in learning how to run projects on SAP, from a beginner user level to a power user level. This Job Ready SAP Course will give you the skills and knowledge to use the SAP system for planning, analysing, processing, and executing stages of a project lifecycle. Instead of using basic MS Projects, SAP has devised tools to integrate between the Project System (PS) and other modules such as Finance, Human Resources, Materials Management, Production and Planning, Sales & Distribution, Document Management, and pretty much all areas within a project. This will give you the software knowledge as a PM or project team member. If you want to learn about software and how to track the project effectively, this is the ideal starting point for your Project System training. Once you have completed the training, you will go through a Job Ready program that will allow you to experience interviews, learn industry concepts, and speak to industry professionals.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Describe the basic data used in a project and describe the basic functions associated with work breakdown structures.
  • You will be able to explain the purpose of networks and activities and describe the basic functions associated with project planning board.
  • Explain the purpose of planning WBS dates and scheduling by defining the types of resource planning and their integration implications.
  • Ability to describe different types of project cost and revenue planning and their integration implications and explain the differences between planning and budgeting and the function of budget availability control.
  • Explain the functions involved with posting to projects and their integration implications
  • Describe the different methods of posting labor to project, define the integration between projects and materials management from a purchasing process
  • Describe the functions of project period-end closing and their integration implications
  • Explain the scenarios involved in settling projects from an integration perspective
  • Discuss the reporting and analysis tools used in Project System

HOW TO START LEARNING 

The SAP® Project Management – Job Ready Training is offered through an online learning mode. The self paced online mode can be started and completed anytime during the course access duration which is 2 months. Once you Enrol, a Mentor will give you a call and run through an orientation program to ensure you are successful in your training and help you set up.
